Join textile artist Janet Hinkle for an all-ages drop-in art activity exploring creativity, sustainability, and the possibilities of reused materials. Using reclaimed and upcycled fabrics, participants will create unique three-dimensional soft sculptures inspired by the landscapes, architecture, and stories surrounding Scarborough Museum. Learn basic sewing and textile construction techniques while discovering how discarded materials can be transformed into imaginative works of art. Whether you are new to textile arts or an experienced maker, this hands-on activity offers an opportunity to experiment, create, and explore how textiles connect storytelling, community, and environmental stewardship. All materials are provided while supplies last.
